GALA Magazine #18/2013
Bill and Tom Kaulitz are identical twins, which is hard to believe sometimes. Instead of having two genetically identical people standing in front of you, it seems more like there are two men standing in front of you who couldn’t be more different from each other. An optical illusion, because as soon as they open their mouths, you’re talking to one and the same person. Even when they’re of the complete opposite opinion…
Your job as jurors on “Deutschland Sucht den Superstar” will be coming to an end next month. What’s gonna happen after that?
Tom: We will be dedicating ourselves solely to our music career. Our move to L.A. in 2010 and us taking a break had two reasons. One being that it became seemingly impossible for us to lead a private life in Germany. Secondly, we wanted to work on our new album in peace. We hope that we’ll finish it this year. The songs for the album have already been chosen, now we’re in the last phase of production.
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow says: “People always stay the same age they were, when they became famous.” Is this true?
Tom: She has a point there. I often think that I didn’t change much. I still have the same kind of humour and I still crack the same dumb jokes. In some way you do stay the same. Then again, we learned a lot – from how to deal with staff to how the music business works.
A lot of teen stars take a downward spiral and later terrorize the people around them with their high-handedness, e.g.: Justin Bieber. Who’s “allowed” to tell them “No”?
Bill: I really wish there was no one doing that, but its a fact that there are still people that are opposed to us. We’ve known most of the people around us for seven, eight years and they don’t stop telling us the unadorned truth just because we’re in the public eye. I often think that our environment sees things too critically because Tom and I always find ourselves in a position where we have to defend ourselves and our actions.
Robbie Williams was discovered when he was fifteen, just like you. He says: “Fame magnifies your sensitivites, it strengthens your weaknesses and it reveals the eeriest sides of your character.”

DE Bravo #15/2013
That’s also the case for DSDS-Juror Bill Kaulitz. The, now, 23-year old has been single for 8 years! That's an eternity! No cuddling, no kissing, no butterflies in the stomach for such a long time. That's so sad! Before the big breakthrough with Tokio Hotel in the summer of 2005, he had 5 girlfriends. After that: nothing - and that despite girls around the world adoring him.
The rocker is speaking openly about this topic: "Of course I want that to happen to me too. Every person is made for being with someone." But why doesn't it work for you, Bill? "I ask that myself too", he laughs and shrugs his shoulders, trying to find answers to this question. "I have a hard time trusting people. This might be one of the problems."
Which is understandable since Bill has been in the spotlight since he turned 15. "Who really likes me for the person I am and who only likes me because I'm famous?" are questions that arise every time when the singer and juror gets to know new people. "Besides I also might have high expectations when it comes to love. A lot of people are only in relationships because they can't be alone. I don't want this. Either they want to be in one or not! When I'm in love, then I'm completely in love - forever and always. I don't want to come to an arrangement with this person, it just has to fit." Finding "the one" - that certainly puts a nice mental image in your head. And it's so very romantic. But sometimes you also have to give those people a chance, that don't seem perfect to you at first glance. Because often feelings, like trust, develop over time.
That's also what Bill's twin brother, Tom, tries to get into his brothers head. "It's really not easy for Bill to get to know women when I'm around. They then only have eyes for me.", he starts out joking, but gets serious afterwards: "All joking aside, I really want to help Bill. I always tell him his expectations in love are too high." Unlike Bill, Tom never had problems with getting close to girls. Quite the opposite: When the boys from Loitsche started out Tom bragged about his "adventures" with groupies that he took into his hotel room - he definitely didn't keep quiet about them.
But the wild times are over - the 23-year-old is happy with ONE girl: Since 2011 it's rumoured that he's in a relationship with Ria (27) from Hamburg. And what does Bill have to say about his twin brother having a girlfriend? "It's feels strange. He has someone, I don't. But I know that we'll always have the closest relationship - that's a fact and women will have to accept that. We come in a double pack. A girl is, basically, in a relationship with both of us." The brothers are indeed inseperable. The two of them always appear as a duo - which is, at the moment, also the case with DSDS.
What really makes them strong: Bill and Tom can often communicate with each other just by thinking or looking at each other. And they pledge: "We want to die together!" But a life without love? Both of them don't want this. Tom already found his luck - and Bill will hopefully also meet "the one" soon. Eight years of loneliness are definitely enough...
What really makes them strong: Bill and Tom can communicate with each other by thinking or looking at each other. They swear: “We want to die together!” But a life without love? Both don’t want this. Tom already found his luck – and hopefully Bill will meet the right one soon. Eight years being alone is too much.

Cool Girl #10/2011 (Romania)
Bill Kaulitz: “I don't have a girlfriend, because of the lack of trust…”
Due to his controversial look, Bill always raised questions regarding his sexual orientation. However, what he wishes is a sensible girl, like him…
Question: When you were 8 years old, your family moved to the countryside, in a town of 700 people. What has this meant for you?
Answer: I didn’t like it, not even then I wasn’t a fan of the countryside life. You can all imagine the way I and Tom stood out everywhere we went. People looked at us as if we were some kind of aliens or lunatics. And to get to school, we had to wake up at 5 A.M. and take the bus for an hour and see the same faces every day. It was horror, I must admit..
Q: How did the teachers react to the Kaulitz Brothers phenomenon?
A: Tom and me were together all the way to the 7th grade, when we were separated for disciplinary reasons. Right! Anyway, we were always talking and they said they couldn’t control us, while we were still together!
Q: Did you like going to school?
A: I always knew I do not need what school has to offer for me and I wanted to be a musician. And because the teachers were always on my head, I’ve studied my rights, as a student, and I knew what they were allowed to do to us and what not. And I was always protesting! I had teachers that never salute, because my hair was too weird and I had black finger nails. I even remember that one teacher didn’t want me as his student for this reason… So, no, I didn’t like going to school!
Q: So, in your case, we can say that music was the salvation from a common life…
A: Obviously! I always wanted to live in a large city, to walk around… I am scared to death when it comes to talk about routine! This is why the concept of Tokio Hotel fits like a glove on me: I have all the freedom I want!
Q: The media is constantly watching you, doesn’t this bother you?
A: When I was little I always imagined how everything I do is being videotaped with a hidden camera. I wanted constant attention. Now I have it, so why would this bother me?
Q: Regarding the freedom mentioned earlier, your outfits are a clear statement that you are not willing to make compromises…
A: Yes, the fact that I always experiment with my look means uncensored creativity. I want to be the person who decides what image I show the public. Because of this, I’ve never turned to a stylist, just the idea or wearing something imposed by others is horrifying.
Q: OK, so no stylists. Is there, however, a style icon, as a source of inspiration to you?
A: No, not even this. There are some people who help me grow, who give me new ideas. People like Karl Lagerfeld. And, as a brand, Dsquared. And when it comes to music and appearance, Steve Tyler form Aerosmith is brilliant!
Q: You haven’t mentioned Adam Lambert. He talks a lot about you in his interviews…
A: Yes… I appreciate him a lot, but I don’t want things to be interpreted in a wrong way. He has all the right to talk about me, if he wants to, no grudge at all. It even tickles my ego (Laughs).
Q: Talking about appreciation, do you think there will be someone in your life to compete against Tom?
A: Of course not! I couldn’t imagine my life without Tom. There’s something extrasensory between us. There are many times when we share the same dreams, the same thoughts. We don’t even need to talk that much; we understand each other without the use of words.
Q: What differences are there between you guys?
A: This is really funny, we are actually very different. We both have strong personalities, which you can see in our styles. I am more of a glam style; Tom is more of a rapper.
Q: Whom are you closer to: the natural Bill or the stylish Bill?
A: No doubt the stylish one, with make-up and put together. The natural Bill is not that different. In other words I would present myself the same way, even if I wouldn’t be famous. But this doesn’t mean that I do not like to spend my time in flip-flops and a robe, in front of the TV….
Q: Which is your favorite clothing item?
A: This really is a tough question, there isn’t a piece of clothing I can’t live without during tours. This is why I usually carry 10-20 suitcases with me… My dressing looks like a real clothing store. I know it’s a bit extreme, but I absolutely love it!
Q: At every Tokio Hotel show the fans are crazy after you. How does this make you feel?
A: To be honest, I don’t think to much at this. However, there are times when I can’t believe that someone has a poster with us on their wall. I was doing the same thing with my idols when I was younger…
Q: What is the most annoying thing of being Bill Kaulitz?
A: The most biggest problem of people like me is to trust people near them. It’s kind of hard for me too… Maybe this is why I haven’t made a new friend in the last years or I haven’t felt in love with someone. When I meet a new person, I am extremely careful and skeptic. It sucks, but this is a risk of this type of lifestyle.
Q: So, you do not have a girlfriend at this time?
A: No, I am still waiting for that special person I’ve been talking for years. Good luck I am still young (laughs). But time flies by and I need to step up a bit.
Q: But when you succeed in connecting to someone, what kind of relations do you like?
A: Although it may seem surprising, I am an emotional and sentimental person… I like to understand how the other person thinks and feels. This way you avoid the quarrels and confrontations.
Q: Does it surprise you that some people consider you a gay person?
A: Not at all. Some of them think it as a cliché: the make-up and the hair means gay. But this is not the case in all the situations, at least not in my case. Everyone looks the way they want and this has nothing to do with the sexual orientation.
Q: What kind of girlfriend would you like?
A: She needs to be intelligent, so we can talk about everything. I want us to be friends, partners, not only lovers. And I don’t like tough girls, I care about the femininity, delicacy, and common sense!
Q: You’ve moved to the U.S.A., is this a first step in concurring the world?
A: Ha-ha, yes, it’s about that too. We want to enlarge our horizons… To make a new album, much more modern. You will see the result soon, I promise! Anyway, we like it a lot, I go with Tom in amusement parks, we play tennis, we enjoy the overseas’ anonymity. So we take advantage of it, as much as possible. :) Who knows, maybe here I will increase my chances of meeting someone…
Cool Facts
Bill’s motto: “Always remember, believe in today, believe in tomorrow, believe in yourself. Believe in everything you do, every time”, which he repeats at every concert.
Don’t know if you thought about it, but Bill doesn’t dances! “I don’t like to dance, I rather stay in a corner. There are times when I do it, but only after having a few drinks. I think dancing is more a girl thing, I know it’s a cliché…”
Bill is a vegetarian, so is Tom. This way they’ve learned to enjoy pizza and pasta (they’re favorite meals) in no meat version.
Unhappy experiences, as a consequence of celebrity. “Someone broke into our house in Germany, and this really scared me.” Because of this, they’ve moved to Los Angeles, a more secure place for celebrities.
Bill suffered a surgery on his vocal cords, three years ago. Despite of this, the vocalist returned quickly on the stage, for his fans.
A tough thing for him was the divorce of his parents, coincided with the moving to the countryside of the two siblings. Good luck that artists have the opportunity to let go of their feelings into their work, Bill did just that with the song “Gegen Meinen Willen”, on their first album.

Interview with Tokio Hotel in JapanNow, this is the first time that I have my life, not being Tokio Hotel. (Bill)
Having mini live at Audi Forum Tokyo. From left to right: Georg Listing, Tom Kaulitz, Bill Kaulitz, Gustav Schäfer.
Tokio Hotel visit Japan for MTV's VIDEO AID JAPAN (hereafter referred to VMAJ). In our last issue, we published our close coverage and photos of Tokio Hotel, this time, we will publish their interview. We haven't met Kaulitz brothers for three months, they are still handsome, but Tom has wear a thin beard. Though they are twins, you can distinguish them from their image. Bill has shown up with beard in an award, it seems that fans are shocked. And, this time, apart from VMAJ, Tokio Hotel has also done mini live in Audi's Showroom. There're a lot of fans saying that they can't wait to enjoy a normal concert. "It doesn't matter how much money you can spend, only those, who have won the tickets, can attend this live. It's hard." said the fans. According to Germany's staff, Japan's promoter has contacted them for a few times, the band's also full of drive. It may not be a long way to fulfill fans' wish...?
Japan's summer is humid, right?
Bill: Yap, it's really hard that you have to work under such weather. I don't care if we are in vacation, and relax for the whole day.
Tom: But it's better than cold!
Bill: Surely, it's better than winter.
By the way, Tom, what's happening to your beard? Fans are talking about it!
Tom: You don't like it? *laugh*
Small photos:
left: Q&A section after live. "Do you like Japanese girl?" such normal question was asked. Though fans all know the boys' answer, still they want to ask.
right: In Q&A section after live, the boys were asked about their plan for coming to Japan in the future. They answered that it was in progress, however, due to the popularity gap between different countries, it's very difficult carry out the plan... Though the boys are full of drive.
P45 (Bill): In the party, people were speechless with Bill's mystic beauty, no matter boys or girls.
...well, what can I say... *grin*
Bill & Tom: *laugh*
Tom: I'm as beautiful as usual, right *grin*? Well...I think that beard can hide my rough skin. Should I continue to expose my rough skin, as Bill does so, or should I grow a beard to cover it? I chose the later one.
Gustav: Even you do so, you are as beautiful as usual! *grin*
Tom: Right? *grins*
Bill: But, for Tom and I, it's not a big deal. I'm a bit lazy in the morning, I also grow beard, the same as everyone. If it is okay for me not to shave off my beard, of course, this way is always easier.
Tom: Gustav got chest hair! *laugh*
Bill: Yeah, chest hair! *laugh*
In the morning, when I saw Bill's face with beard, I was shocked, even I am the twin brother... (Tom)
*laugh* Right. But the look of you guys is part of the image of Tokio Hotel, to fans, it's a great deal.
Bill: You're right. For us, it's completely normal, but for fans, it's big problem, it's strange.
Don't say something like that, don't you care about your look and styling all the time?
Bill: You're right, but I'm also human being, the same as everyone! *grin*
Okay, but I just can't imagine that Bill has such side.
Bill: *laugh* No, no, I am the same as everyone, I grow beard.
Tom: Even I am the twin brother, I am shocked! In the morning, when I saw this guy's face, I was just like "What's happening to this face!? This is not Bill!". I'm really openmouthed. *laugh*
Bill: *laugh* But the worst thing is that I'm bored by myself, so I always change my look.
Tom: Just go out with your natural beauty. *grin* Hey, do I look old?
Bill: You are just 21, so it's okay, isn't it?
Tom: Yes, it's okay. If I wear a beard, I look like 21, right? I'm no longer 16, 17 years old.
*laugh* Let's back to our subject. First, I would like to thank you guys for supporting victims in Tohoku and Fukushima. You guys have done a lot of work in helping them?
Bill: Yes. When we heard of the earthquake, we were really shocked, since we just came back from Japan a few weeks before the earthquake.
It's graceful that you guys could go back safely.
Bill: Yes, of course, but we really love this country, we like Tokyo the best, so we treat Tokyo's matter as our matter. As the earthquake is really shocking, we think that, we will do anything if they need us, we want to show our support to Japan! So we are really happy that we can raise money for Japanese Red Cross Society with MTV.
Your fans have also done something, right?
Bill: Yes, in order to raise money for Japanese Red Cross Society, we have designed some buttons, and many fans bought these buttons. I'm really happy to see fans helping us.
Also, you guys will have a collaboration with Germany's football team player Kagawa (Borussia Dortmund's midfielder Shinji Kagawa), right?
Bill: Yes, we met him a lot recently. Although he says "I'm not that familiar with football...", he's really a nice guy.
What will you guys do?
Bill: If there's any chance, we will grasp it with joy. For this time's MTV, there're really a lot of artists gathered together to show their support. I think that's really great. The scene of many people holding together for the same purpose is nice.
After the earthquake disaster, many Japanese start thinking about their lives and destinies. Do you have anything that you think that you must do in your life? What's in your mind when disaster comes?
Tom: Yes, I think that when something like that happens, a great impact will be made on everyone, all over the world. It happens so quickly, just in an instant, you can actually feel the terror of Nature.
Bill: Life is really fragile... I'm really scared.
Tom: The earthquake has changed the life of people all over the world. We all reflect on our life. There're so many people being killed, people all feel heartbreaking, so people is affected, for no reason.
You guys are stars, there are many people admire your music and existence, right? Do you guys think that it's destiny.
Bill: Yeah, it can only be destiny. We have talked about this in many interview, that we are saved by music, in many ways. We, not only immerse ourselves in our music, but also in many other music. When we are sad, we will go to party, we listen to different music according to the atmosphere. Also, we create our own music, we are inspired by a lot of stories, and write our songs, this is the way which can solve our problem best. Everything around us is our inspiration. For us, music is a therapy, it works in different way. We will be happy if we can play such role. Though we are amazed that fans value us, we are really happy that they need our band.
I see. So, you guys are working on your new album?
Bill & Tom: Yes!
Where do you guys get inspiration from for your songs recently?
Bill: Tom and I get all the inspiration from our life. Now, this is the first time that I have my life, not being Tokio Hotel. We are always touring, and grew up in the eye of public, it might be the first time that we can live and keep our privacy. So we try to challenge everything that we couldn't do in the past, this way of life is new to us, not touring. So, now, we get our inspiration from whom we met and our life. And movie. We like watching movie.
Tom: Also, time is important. Having enough time inspires us a lot. We live with our own lifestyle, have few weeks doing nothing. I think is really great. Songs that we bring to our fans is certainly great.
Bill: The most important thing is that we don't have pressure. The date of release of our next album is not decided, to us, this is important. We are not a band that will release an album annually. We are kind of free. As we think that ideas come to our mind spontaneously, we may have to spend 2, 3 or 4 years for an album, so we don't know when will our new album be finished. We will spend as much time as we like on it, this is important.
If we are not 100% satisfied with our work, we will absolutely not make it public. (Tom)
You're right. So far, how many songs have you guys written?
Tom: If you are talking about the number of songs, the number is enough for us to go to the studio. But we don't want this. We will keep on writing songs and write down our ideas, production keeps on...
Bill: We can't tell you exactly how many songs we have written. In our laptop, there are a lot of songs we wrote since 2000. We have taken some songs from there and made some modifications. It's difficult to say exactly how many songs we have written. Anyway, we have written many songs, a mountain of songs.
Tom: One day, inside this mountain, we will think that "Ok, we are ready!". At that time, there're songs that can be combined into an album.
Bill: There are some songs that I don't like after recording.
Could you guys upload the first 20 seconds of one of the song on Internet?
Tom: *grin* There are too many songs for free nowadays.
Okay...*grin*
Bill: But if we are 100% satisfied with our work, we will share with our fans.
Tom: Yap, conversely, if we are not 100% satisfied with our work, we will absolutely not make it public.
You guys are all perfectionists. *grin*
Bill: Yap, as we are perfectionists, we want to write music with high quality. In the recent music industry, there are many people treat quality as minor, we want some bands creating music of high quality.
I see. By the way, your ring is really marvelous! Can you introduce to us? (there are a few rings, they nearly hide Bill's finger. It seems that the rings have gimmicks)
Bill: This one? I brought this from Los Angeles' secondhand clotheses store, it seems that it was originally an old watch.
From Melrose Avenue, right? (editor: Los Angeles' most fashionable street, with lots of secondhand clotheses store and characteristic fashion stores.)
Bill: Yes, from Melrose Avenue! You know it.
Cause we had asked from Tom that you bought lots of things there. *grin* (6: From InRock #326)
Bill: Yap, that's my favourite place in Los Angeles.
But, isn't it inconvenient to carry such big ring?
Bill: No, I love accessories. I have lots of accessories, a crazy number of accessories. There are chains, rings and other accessories. I have lots of accessories in my closet, a few thousands of them.
*grin* By the way, your next single for radio is the great hit song "Monsoon". It's a new song here, in Japan. Can you tell us some stories about this song?
Bill: Yes. This is one of our first recording song by Tokio Hotel. It's in our first album, our first single in Germany, and the start of everything, so it's an important song, full of our memories. It fulfill our dreams, fans love this song. And "Monsoon" is also the most viewed video... We have brought this song to many countries. We have lots of memories in this song. We have also made a really beautiful video! Of course, it's an old song now...
You guys has shot another video?
Bill: Yeah, shot in Cape Town that one. Don't watch the German version, I really don't like it!
Really?
Bill: Yes, though it's part of our history, I don't think we had made a good video, so I'm not that like it. But it's our starting point.
You were so cute in that video! I have watched it for a few times.
Tom: *laugh* You have watched the whole?
Bill: Yap, we had his video, then a few years later, we shot the English version in Cape Town. It's a love song!
Tom: We were on an helicopter in the English version, after the shoot of the video, the helicopter was broken down.
Bill: It seems that it can no longer be manned.
Tom: We didn't know this, and we got on it. The shot goes well, but it's broken down a few days later.
Bill: It's too old, that there's even no license saying that it can be manned.
It's great that you guys are safe!!
Bill & Tom: Yeah..*laugh* There's such story.
And, there's one more important thing. A few months ago, you guys had beaten of a lot of big artists and win the MTV O Music Award? It's great, can you talk about this?
Tom: Yes. Now, we're about to compose our mind and stay in the studio, we were not interviewed often, we are surprised! Even in such period, fans vote for us.
Bill: We didn't expect to it!
Tom: We even didn't know that we were nominated, after knowing that, we just thought that "it's great, but this is O Award, we won't win it".
Bill: It's really unexpected. In the past, when we won Headliner (6: EMA in 2008), and many other awards, we didn't feel the sense of reality... These all are achieved by our fans, for us. We are really proud of our fans, they support us greatly. Now, we don't have tour, just have our production in the studio, but still we won the award, we are really happy! It's really cool!
It's an award for fans, right? It means that your fans are the best?
Bill & Tom: Yes!
Bill: It's an award for fans! Our fans are from foreign countries (Outside America), still we won the award, it's cool!!
It's really marvelous!

billboard.ru.msn.com: Tokio Hotel could beat each other up just for fun – English Version
English version of the interview by Billboard.
Tokio Hotel could beat each other up just for fun.
In the beginning of the summer Tokio Hotel visited Russia to take part in the Muz-TV Awards. As it turned out, the guys only support the German car industry and frequently think about a soundtrack for their funeral.

Billboard: Hi, guys! Today we will play in game-interview. The rules are: you pick a card in turns and ask the question to who is sitting next to you.
Tom: I start!
Billboard: Ok. I remind that you need to question the person next to you.
Tom: Oh, next to me! Ok.
Georg: This question is perfect for Bill.
Tom: What is the silly thing you did at a concert?
Bill: The silliest thing I did at a concert.
Tom: No, silly.
Bill: Yeah. You know, there are some kind of mistakes that are happening sometimes. So, it’s like silly things, you know, [once] we all fell from the stage together in… Where was it?
Georg: I think, it was in Russia, in Saint-Petersburg…
Tom: No, but it was in Russia.
Bill: It was in Russia somewhere.
Tom: Riga.
Georg: No, it’s not Riga.
Bill: Whatever, somewhere. And the stage had broken down and we all were on the catwalk, it was kind of funny. And oh! The first show we had on our last tour in «Luxemburg». Yes, how [do you say] «Luxemburg» in English?

Interview ELLEgirl - Tokyo, Japan 24.06.2011 - Part 1-5
Interview with Tokio Hotel - Part 1
On June 24th, although I was preparing the ELLEgirl Night, I decided to interview TH anyway. Here I would like to thank the staff for your concern.
Here are Gustav, Bill, Tom, Georg from the left. I thought they got jet lag, but actually they looked very fresh when they entered the interview room.
The interviews you guys took before have made a stir all around the world. The interview was translated into, of course, English, and also French, Thai, Russian and other languages, and put on web. There are also comments written in English, French and German in my blog.
Bill: (very glad) Yeah, that's so amazing, right? It's unbelievable.
This time I told fans I would interview TH, so in recent days I received a large number of questions from Uruguay, Russia, Italy, China and etc. Fans all over the earth want to ask you questions. They wrote something like this: if you would come to Japan, we hope you come to Kyusyu; or we hope you can come to Uruguay or Moscow. They all hope TH can come to their local place.
Bill: I see. We'd love to. All the fans keep eyes on your blog, right?
Yeah, I think that network between TH fans is great.
Well, let's get started. Let's see how many questions you can answer.
Did you search for your favourite place or store in Tokyo? (From KANA)
Bill: To be honest, we don't have opportunities to look around or even free time. Especially this time we just stay for 2 nights. [*actually, they stay for 4 days 3 nights] We spend all our time on interviews or shows (rehearsal and activities included), so we don't have any chance to ramble around. But in the first visit to Japan, we had 30 minutes of free time, so I checked some beautiful and fashionable people.
Where is it? Harajuku or Shibuya?
Bill: Yeah, it's great. I had gone to some fashion stores. So, I would like to come to Japan and go around leisurely when I have a holiday next time.
Interview with Tokio Hotel - Part 2
Tom: Last time I took a picture with two girls in Kimono.
Bill: Yeah, yeah.
But if you wear Kimono in the show, it must be different style with your songs.
Bill: Hahaha. That's right. Maybe we have to prepare some black Kimono with rivets.
Tom: (Laugh) Georg may wear Kimono tomorrow in VMAJ.
Georg looks like to say no with a cool smile.
Please tell us what kind of feeling you guys want to express in the performance of tommorow's VMAJ. As this time, the event is in the form of an aid, which is going to support victims in the Great East Japan Earthquake. (From yukari, TH55 and KANA)
Bill: The meaning of 'aid' is of couse important. We really appreciate the opportunity of taking part in this activity. I think that It is really cool for MTV to take the lead in this aspect. The successive aids are quite important. People unite and donate for the victims is also important. We really want to be one part of them and support them, so it's our honor to perform in VMAJ tomorrow.
Interview with Tokio Hotel - Part 3
Bill: Music saves people anytime in no matter what kind of situation or emotion, as many staff and Tom are always writing the best song at that time.
When you write songs, do you have "bringing the hope to everybody" in mind?
Bill: Firstly, I always think about everyone's idea and write them down. I like to tour best, because I can share my emotion and feeling with others. Then I can also know how they react (to me). I received letters from fans written "your songs save me". We don't know what's going on, but we are very happy about it. So, music can really helps people. When fans told us that our songs can help them, we are so proud of ourselves.
Gustav and Georg, have you ever been saved by music?
Georg: For us, especially for Gustav and me, we always think that we don't have other things to do, except music. If I was not in the rehearsal room, I should have been idling in the streets all day along.
Tom: Doing some stupid things.
Gustav: Working in post office.
Tom & Bill: Laugh.
Georg: It may be because we got in touch with music when we were teenagers. That was very important. (Georg often made collusion.)
Interview with Tokio Hotel - Part 4
(Maybe Georg really has the best skin and the most beautiful, and longest hair)
Bill: I do not do any skincare.
Tom: I use the soap provided by hotel all the time.
Bill: To me, it's the sun. I think that bathing in the sunshine a little bit is good to skin. At least, it works on me. People always say that sunburn makes you look older, but I don't really care.
Bill: Even if something is wrong in the skin, sunburn can hide it. (Laugh)
Interview with Tokio Hotel - Part 5
Bill: The good thing is that the freckles can be hidden.
Georg: It took half a year to grow the beard like this long. (Laugh)
(Gustav is touching his own face, but nobody notices that. Or does eveyone try to ignore his action? Laugh)
We notice that Bill developed his muscles. Did you do any training?
Bill: As Tom goes to gym for training, we go to gym together sometimes.
Do you guys have twitter account? (From Jasminev)
Tom: We have an official one, but we don't have private twitter account.

Bravo #13/2011 Tokio Hotel in Moscow

BRAVO's editor Liza has interviewed the guys at Olympiysky a few minutes before the Muz-TV Awards.
*All of them are laughing*
Bill: Whoa! We never said that! On the contrary we love so much our fans to greet us with happy cries! Next time, when you hear something like that, you should tell us, we will kick him out immediately!
Bill: No, unfortunately we didn't… They stayed at home. Last year we took two our big dogs (German short-haired and Labrador) on tour with us. But we're not going to stay in Moscow for that long, so we decided not to make dogs nervous. Flight is a huge stress for them. If I could change the rules, I'd let animals travel on board the plane. During the tour when we traveled by bus the dog slept with me in my bed.
Bravo: Bill, the video where you appeared with beard made some buzz in the Net. Was it real beard?
Tom: Nope! It's postproduction! It was painted on the computer later. *All of them are laughing*
Bill: May be you'll be surprised, but my beard grows too. I didn't expect my 3-days bristle would make such ballyhoo. The camera was not so good and I thought no one would notice it. Actually at home I'm always unshaven. And I shave if I have to go out.
Bravo: You also dressed up today… You have a hood with fur. But it's 25 degrees in Moscow!
Bill: Yes, I didn't know, that it's so hot here!
Tom: Btw, I have to draw your attention that it's not real fur! And we are vegetarians actually.
Bravo: Cool! Bill, have you and your brother already made a twin-tattoo that you have planned?
Bill: Tom can't finally make up his mind to do it! He is afraid of tattoos.
Tom: I've already made painful piercings, but tattoos…it's kind of scary. Why do I have to cover my beautiful body with tattoos? *Bill is laughing* I think, it would be suitable for Bill if he would tattoo all his body including face. It’s a pity if I make it on my beautiful face.
Bravo: But if you finally decide to make it, what would it be?
Bill: A little message understandable for two of us only somewhere no one could see.
Bravo: Bill, Adam Lambert talks about you in each interview. What if he calls you and invites you to the restaurant?
Bill: I don't know him, and he doesn't know my phone number! So, he seems not to be fated to dine with me *looks cunning*
Bravo: I've found something in the Internet! There is such thing as twincest. It's twins who are in love with each other and so on…
*Guys look really puzzled?*
Tom: Ehmmmm… Are there twins who in LOVE WITH EACH OTHER?
Bill: Twin-cest?
Bravo: Yes, some people even draw you in different poses…
Bill: Me and Tom?!
Tom: What a bullshit? Is it legal, actually? *laughs*
Bill: May be this people are insane.
Tom: Sorry, but I don't want to have something in common with this people. *all laughing*
Bravo: Yes, there is a lot of people with insane fantasy. But what was the last case when you met inadequate people?
Bill: The last terrible case was when someone broke into our house in Germany. Because of this we have moved to the USA and now we're living in LA. It's too hard to live in Europe. Some people are just going crazy. They have kind of mania. They can do everything! May be there are those crazy ones among them who make twincest. *laughing* One day we understood, that we have to stay under security's control all the time. Such life became unbearable…
Bravo: What are you doing in LA?
Bill: We're working on our new album. On weekends I swim in the pool the whole day and have fun in amusement park. Tom and me are obsessed with it. Btw, we celebrated our 20th Birthday in amusement park, but it was in Germany.
Tom: I like jet-ski and quadrocycles. I like everything with engine! In LA we also like the fact that we can go to the supermarket and buy yoghurt, rent a car.
Georg: Make an intimate haircut in salon… *Everyone laughing*
Bill: Besides it's cool that all supermarkets in the USA are opened round-the-clock!
Tom: But we live a bit distantly even there. We can't be free for 100%. Most of the time we're staying at home.
Quotes:
"It's a pity, that we can't take our dogs with us."
"Since our house was robbed, we can't live in Europe anymore."

Press Conference with Tokio Hotel

At first, Bill told the reporters at the press conference:
We took a small break but we're surprised that so many Russian fans are waiting for us.
Do you know some Russian songs?
Bill: 'Kalinka Malinka'? No, we don't know any Russian songs but we promise that we'll learn one.
What do you think of your fans that are copying your style?
Bill: Never even thought or dreamt about it. Now I can't stop surprising. It's a big honor for me. The other day, I saw girls that looked like me. It was weird.
You live in the U.S. now. What do you miss of your country?
Bill: We feel completely different in LA. We can go to a supermarket and buy our favourite yogurt, we couldn't do that in Germany, there always were lots of fans around.

BRAVO # 24, 2006
BETWEEN THE FOUR OF THEM
MARRIAGE? CHILDREN? EVERYTHING ABOUT THEIR FUTURE PLANS!
Thousands of fans love Tokio Hotel. They’re writing letters full of passion. They’re dreaming about being together with their stars. Many posters by fans read “marry me” or “Make me a baby!”.
Bill (16), Tom (16), Gustav (17) and Georg (19) reveal exclusively in Bravo how they themselves picture their very personal future...
Bill picture: “If I were to get married, the wedding would have to be really cool. And I’d get the wedding ring tattooed on me!”
Georg picture: “I’d like to have children when I’m 30 or 40 years old. First a boy and followed by a girl.”
PAGE 2
Tom picture: “I’m not sure yet whether the one true love exists.”
Gustav picture: “At the moment I also can’t really imagine getting married!”
Band picture: “Georg (19), Tom (16), Bill (16) and Gustav (17, pictured here with a new shorter hairstyle) have got very different ideas of their personal future
(original German text: Sascha Wernicke)
BRAVO: Be honest: can you imagine getting married one day?
Tom: I’m finding it hard to imagine it. After all getting married is somehow bourgeois. Whether the one true love exists? I don’t know!
Bill: It does. I believe in it!
Tom: I’m still not so sure about it. Yes alright, being together with one girl for a longer period of time. But forever? After all there are people that got together when they were 16 [years old] and they’re staying a couple to the death...
Bill: It does. I believe that the one true love exists. However, unfortunately I haven’t found it yet.
Georg: Well, I do want to get married –some time later. On the one hand it’s a shame to be committed to only one woman then – that’s why I want to get to meet her relatively late. However, on the other hand it’s lovely. Surely you’ll get along very well if the One really exists, the perfect one.
Tom: I’ve got mixed feelings thinking about two people constantly hanging around each other. And whoever’s getting along perfectly all of the time anyway? Arguing every now and then revives a relationship. The time I commit myself will be when I’m 60 [years old] at the earliest! (laughs)
Gustav: At the moment I also can’t really imagine getting married.
Bill: I’ll only get married if the wedding is totally cool...
BRAVO: What do you mean by cool?
Bill: The wedding dress to be in black and red. Black make-up. All of it not to be so ceremonial. Also no silly swanky music and so on.
BRAVO: And how about children?
Georg: I’d like to have two. First a boy, followed by a girl.
Bill: Oh well. At the moment I can’t imagine having children.
Tom: Me neither. One wouldn’t be able to party anymore then. (laughs)
Bill: However, I can easily imagine Georg changing nappies. And how the little ones are nicely drooling all over him. (everybody laughs)
Tom: Yes, they’ll be screaming all day long. And the “Super Nanny” [TV show] is well-known. The bad behaviour of the kids on there...
Georg: ... but in those cases it’s down to parenting!
Tom: If I’m going to get a child, then it should already be older at its birth. By the way, Georg will surely also do well as a driver of a family car! (grins)
Georg: Rubbish. I won’t be driving a daddy’s car! I’ll get a wicked sports car... (laughs)
