Fashion Forward 2011 sponsorship announced

The young British designer labels, Todd Lynn, Meadham Kirchhoff, and Peter Pilotto, have been awarded the 2011 Fashion Forward sponsorship.

The designers were introduced at a cocktail reception tonight, hosted by Michael Morley, the chief executive of Coutts, and Harold Tillman, the chairman of the British Fashion Council. They were chosen by a panel of industry experts for their creative vision and innovative designs, and will be showing on-schedule at London Fashion Week in both February and September.

Todd Lynn, originally from Canada, is an MA graduate of Central St Martins, renowned for his sharp-edged, rock 'n' roll tailoring. After working for Roland Mouret, he launched his own label in 2006 and counts Janet Jackson, Courteney Love, P J Harvey, Shirley Manson, Bono, Jared Leto,
the guys from the German pop-rock band, Tokio Hotel, and will.i.am from The Black Eyed Peas among his clients.
