Tokio Hotel finally arrives in Brazil for a single presentation tomorrow in Sao Paulo, disk-based Humanoid. Read an interview with vocalist Bill Kaulitz, 21.
How will the show?
Bill Kaulitz - We are very excited and anxious, especially because we know our fans for the first time. Being the first time anywhere is a very beautiful experience.
In 2008, you had a serious throat infection. How did you feel?
It was the worst period of my life. I was very afraid of losing his voice. I could not do anything. I had surgery and had to relearn how to sing.
For the band, the image is as important as the music?
We do is music. Our intention is not to create an image. It must occur naturally. We never had the intention of creating something we are not.
Have you experienced prejudice from the way he dresses?
Since young I deal with prejudice. Today, that upsets me most, because I chewed it for a long time. It is already past.
What inspires you?
The best ideas come when we're on the road. Let's joining, and when we come together to make a new album, everyone brings their ideas.
